Jupiter Wagons Ltd, a leading manufacturer of railway wagons, components, and castings, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Ambuja Cements Ltd and ACC Ltd, both part of the Adani Cement Group, for the production and supply of BCFCM rakes and BVCM wagons. In a regulatory filing on February 11, 2025, the company confirmed that the contract, valued at approximately ₹600 crore, was awarded on February 10, 2025. BCFCM wagons are bogie-covered fly ash/cement carriers, designed for efficient bulk material transport.
Jupiter Wagons reported an 18.4% year-on-year (YoY) growth in consolidated net profit, reaching ₹96.4 crore for the quarter ending December 2024. The company’s growth was fueled by a strong increase in revenue and improved profitability. Revenue from operations rose by 15% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹1,029.8 crore, while total income grew by 16% YoY, reaching ₹1,044.7 crore.
