Jupiter Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd (JEM), the electric commercial vehicle division of Jupiter Wagons Ltd, has launched its first showroom in New Bowenpally, Secunderabad. The inauguration marks the debut of JEM’s flagship 1.05-ton electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV), JEM TEZ, in the Telangana market.

This development is part of JEM’s nationwide expansion strategy aimed at advancing sustainable transport solutions for India’s logistics and delivery sectors. The Hyderabad showroom, operated by Arven Motors Private Limited, offers a complete customer experience — from product exploration and expert consultation to test drives and vehicle performance evaluations.

With this launch, JEM moves closer to its customer base in Telangana, providing local access to its next-generation electric vehicles and after-sales services. The JEM TEZ is designed to meet the evolving needs of India’s logistics landscape. Built with a certified range exceeding 300 km and a true operational range of over 190 km, the vehicle is powered by an 80kW motor, has a 23% gradeability, and supports a 1.05-ton payload. These features make it ideal for last-mile delivery, intra-city logistics, FMCG movement, and other commercial applications that demand performance, efficiency, and reliability.

Hyderabad was chosen as the starting point for JEM’s retail rollout due to its growing importance as a logistics and warehousing hub. The city’s central location, expanding e-commerce activity, and supportive electric vehicle policies at the state level make it a high-potential market for electric commercial vehicles.

The showroom was formally inaugurated by Vivek Lohia, Managing Director of Jupiter Group, along with G V Suresh Babu, Founder of Arven Motors Private Limited. Key leadership from JEM, including Gaurav Jalota, CEO of JEM, and Kartik Hajela, CEO of JEM’s Battery Division, were also present.

Speaking at the launch, Mr Lohia said “Hyderabad represents an important step in our journey toward cleaner and more efficient commercial transportation. With JEM TEZ, we are offering a product that combines payload strength, superior range, and modern telematics at a cost-efficient level. This showroom brings us closer to customers and fleet operators in a city that’s leading the transition to electric mobility.”

JEM is investing in a robust electric vehicle ecosystem to support adoption and uptime. The company has partnered with service and infrastructure providers such as Porter, Pulse Energy, Battwheel, Automovill, and Tapfin, focusing on financing, charging infrastructure, and fleet support. Owners of the JEM TEZ can also access the JEM Udaan program, which offers business support and value-added services.

With the Hyderabad launch, JEM is reinforcing its customer-first approach while laying the groundwork for deeper penetration across Telangana and neighboring states. The company’s expansion roadmap includes upcoming showrooms in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, and Trivandrum.

JEM, a subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Limited (JWL), focuses on designing and manufacturing electric vehicles and energy storage systems for commercial and industrial applications.
