Juniper Green Energy announced the completion of its 100-MW solar power plant, which will provide electricity to Bhutan. This project is part of a significant cross-border agreement, under which 50% of the power generated will be supplied to Bhutan during the winter months, according to the company’s statement. The agreement allows Bhutan to directly import electricity from an Indian power producer under a bilateral trade framework.
