JSW Energy announced on Tuesday that it has successfully added 159 MW of wind power capacity in the March quarter, pushing its total operational generation capacity past 8,400 MW. The new wind power capacity is set to support the increasing energy demand during the upcoming peak season, positioning the company to contribute significantly to a sustainable energy supply.
In its statement, JSW Energy highlighted that the 159 MW of greenfield wind power capacity is now operational, bringing the company’s total to 8,400 MW. Of this, 2,826 MW is generated from wind energy. JSW Energy continues to strengthen its renewable energy portfolio, with an additional 8.0 GW of capacity currently under construction.
