John Cockerill India Secures ₹270 Crore Contract from JSW JFE Electrical Steel Nashik for Tunnel Furnace Equipment

John Cockerill India Limited has been awarded a significant contract worth approximately ₹270 crore by JSW JFE Electrical Steel Nashik Private Limited. The agreement covers the engineering, design, manufacture, and supply of advanced equipment for tunnel furnaces to be installed at JSW JFE Electrical Steel’s Nashik facility. The scope also includes supervision of erection and commissioning of the line.

The tunnel furnaces form a critical part of the production line for electrical steel, ensuring precise heat treatment and consistent product quality. John Cockerill India’s proven expertise in delivering high-performance thermal processing solutions will be key to meeting the stringent technical requirements of the project.

The project is set to enhance JSW JFE Electrical Steel Nashik’s production capabilities and strengthen its position in the high-grade electrical steel segment, which caters to growing demand in energy-efficient motors, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
