JK Tyre & Industries has introduced new tyres for trucks and buses. The company has added four new types: JETWAY JUM XM, JETWAY JUC XM, JETSTEEL JDC XD, and JETWAY JUXe for electric buses.
Anuj Kathuria, President of JK Tyre & Industries, said, “Our new tyres show our commitment to high performance and eco-friendly solutions. We believe these tyres will be reliable for fleet operators and ensure safety.”
The tyres were developed at JK Tyre’s R&D center in Mysuru and made with advanced manufacturing processes. They have been tested in different conditions to ensure high quality. The details of the new tyres are:
JETWAY JUM XM:
This tyre has a 4-Star Rating and an RRc value of 4.9 KN/n, making it very energy-efficient. It is a tubeless tyre designed for buses and trucks to save fuel and reduce costs, which is important as fuel costs are about 50% of total operating expenses in India.
JETWAY JUC XM and JETSTEEL JDC XD:
These tyres are part of the new X-Series and meet the needs of India’s growing infrastructure. The JUC XM tyre lasts 10% longer and is made for tippers and trailers, reducing costs and improving efficiency. The JDC XD tyre is designed for heavy-load transportation, providing long-lasting performance and reliability for tippers on drive and dummy axles.
JETWAY JUXe:
This tyre is specially made for electric buses and aims to improve performance and sustainability in the EV segment. The JUXe tyre will also be used on TATA Motors’ EV buses, showing a joint effort to innovate and support sustainability in India’s public transport.
