JJG Aero, a Bengaluru-based aerospace components manufacturer, has raised $30 million in Series B funding from Norwest. The company will use the investment to expand manufacturing capacity at its upcoming facility in North Bengaluru, strengthen vertical integration, and support strategic growth initiatives. With this round, JJG Aero’s total funding now stands at $42 million, including the $12 million Series A led by CX Partners in April 2024.

Founded in 2008, JJG Aero manufactures high-precision machined components and provides in-house special process finishing for the aircraft systems and engines segment. The company also operates a subsidiary catering to auto components and industrial manufacturing. JJG Aero supplies global aerospace customers, including OEMs and Tier-1 vendors such as Collins Aerospace, Safran, GE Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, Woodward, Liebherr, among others.

Commenting on the development, Anuj Jhunjhunwala, CEO, JJG Aero, said “Over the last five years, companies with strong capabilities, global compliance standards, and long-term customer relationships have seen sharp growth driven by rising aerospace demand. We have moved from two small one-acre sites to building a large third unit on a 10-acre campus. This new facility gives us the scale and room to deepen integration and expand into adjacent areas when the timing is right.

Aerospace manufacturers are facing record demand, and traditional suppliers in the West are struggling to keep up. With our manufacturing strength and track record, we are positioned to become a key precision-machining partner in the aerospace supply chain. India is increasingly being chosen as a sourcing base by global aerospace leaders, and we are proud to be working with several marquee customers as a long-term strategic supplier.”

Shiv Chaudhary, Managing Director, Norwest, said “We are pleased to back JJG Aero and make our first investment in this segment. JJG Aero has delivered strong growth, with a 35% CAGR over the last three years. This investment will help the company scale capacity while also expanding into higher value-added aerospace components.

India’s manufacturing ecosystem continues to build credibility as a global partner for quality and reliability. With strong sector demand and favourable industry momentum, aero parts and components are emerging as a high-potential area in India’s industrial growth story. JJG Aero is well placed to capitalise on these trends and strengthen its market position.”

JJG Aero provides machining solutions ranging from 2-axis to advanced 5-axis machining, backed by more than 30 NADCAP-approved special processes, including electroplating, anodizing, painting, and non-destructive testing (NDT). The company also offers mechanical assemblies, testing, and other value-added services across its aerospace customer base.
