Jindal Aluminium achieves record production in Aluminium-Extruded Products

Jindal Aluminium, India’s largest aluminium extrusion company, has set a new benchmark in the industry by achieving a record-breaking production of 1,15,920 metric tonnes (MT) of aluminium-extruded products in the fiscal year 2023-24. This remarkable feat represents a 10% increase over the previous fiscal year, reinforcing Jindal Aluminium’s dominance in the Indian market and its commitment to meeting growing demand.

The company, renowned for its expertise in manufacturing intricate aluminium profiles, operates three state-of-the-art manufacturing plants located in Bengaluru, Dabaspet (Karnataka), and Bhiwadi (Rajasthan). These facilities boast a combined manufacturing capacity of 2.35 lakh tonnes per annum, including 160,000 tonnes of aluminium extruded products and 75,000 tonnes of aluminium flat-rolled products. Equipped with cutting-edge technology and manned by a highly skilled workforce, these plants are pivotal to Jindal Aluminium’s production capabilities.

In addition to its production capabilities, Jindal Aluminium maintains in-house, environment-friendly surface coating facilities for powder coating and anodizing. This ensures that the company can deliver high-quality, finished products swiftly and efficiently.

Jindal Aluminium has played a significant role in shaping India’s downstream aluminium industry and is the only aluminium extrusion company in the country to receive the prestigious AS9100D aerospace certification. The company also underscores its commitment to sustainability by utilizing 100% renewable energy at two of its manufacturing units in Karnataka.

According to the latest report by IMARC, the aluminium extrusion market in India is projected to reach 1,288,202.3 tonnes by 2028, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.49% from 2023 to 2028. This positive outlook underscores Jindal Aluminium’s strategic position in the market and highlights the promising future for the aluminium extrusion sector.
