JCL Infra Limited, a a leading infrastructure company headquartered in Meerut with a corporate office in Delhi, has marked a significant milestone with the successful launch of a 72-meter span Bow String Girder at level crossing 75-A in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. This crucial project, executed for the Uttar Pradesh State Bridge Corporation Limited, was celebrated with a line-off ceremony on June 5, 2024, at the Railway KM 149/10-11 on the Prayagraj-Phaphamau Rail Section.

The girder, part of a two-lane road over bridge project, represents a major infrastructure advancement with a total span length of 72 meters and a weight of approximately 510 metric tonnes. The entire assembly and welding process spanned from January 2024 to May 2025, with the actual launching executed within a mere 150 minutes using an electric winch end-pulling method. The project, costing around Rs 7 crore, showcases JCL Infra’s commitment to enhancing regional connectivity and infrastructure development.

The significant engineering achievement by JCL Infra Ltd at Prayagraj involved launching the impressive 72-meter Bow String Girder, designated as LC75A, over the level crossing 75-A. This technical feat was executed using an end-pulling method by electric winch, marking a milestone for the infrastructure capabilities in the region. Spanning a length of 72 meters and weighing a massive 510 metric tonnes, the assembly and welding phase of the project stretched from January 2024 to May 2025, culminating in a swift and efficient launch duration of just 2.5 hours.
