JCBL South has successfully manufactured and delivered 1,000 CSC-certified 20-foot containers for GE Vernova’s Grid Solutions business, marking one of the company’s largest export-oriented manufacturing projects in the clean energy sector. Produced entirely at JCBL South’s manufacturing facility in Oragadam, Tamil Nadu, the containers are destined for the United States and will be used to house Flex Inverter systems deployed in hybrid renewable power stations. These systems form an important part of GE Vernova’s renewable energy infrastructure portfolio, supporting the integration and management of power generated from multiple renewable sources.
The project encompassed every stage of production, including engineering, fabrication, assembly, painting, testing, quality validation, and final dispatch. All units were manufactured in accordance with international safety, performance, and durability standards required for deployment in large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
To execute the order efficiently, JCBL South established a dedicated production line focused exclusively on the program. The initiative enabled the company to streamline manufacturing workflows, improve production planning, and reduce rework during the fabrication process. In parallel, employees underwent specialized training programs focused on sealant application and industrial paint operations to ensure consistent product quality across the entire production run.
Commenting on the achievement, Rishi Aggarwal, Managing Director of JCBL Group, said the project demonstrates the growing role of Indian manufacturers in supplying critical infrastructure for global energy markets. He noted that the successful execution of a large-volume order for a leading international energy company reflects the maturity of India’s manufacturing ecosystem and its ability to meet stringent global requirements.
Sandip Chakroborty, Managing Director of JCBL South, said the assignment required the company to expand operational capabilities while maintaining production timelines and quality benchmarks. According to him, the development of dedicated manufacturing systems and workforce competencies played a key role in the project’s successful completion.
The delivery strengthens JCBL South’s position in the heavy fabrication and engineered manufacturing segment, particularly within the rapidly expanding clean energy sector. As investments in renewable power infrastructure continue to increase globally, the company expects demand for specialized enclosures, structures, and equipment to grow across international markets.
