JCB India, a leading manufacturer of earthmoving and construction equipment, has unveiled the JCB NXT 215 LC Fuel Master Tracked Excavator at its advanced manufacturing facility in Pune. This machine, designed for both domestic use and global export, boasts a 14% reduction in fuel consumption compared to previous models, offering substantial savings and operational efficiency for customers.
The JCB NXT 215 LC Fuel Master, tested for rigorous Indian operating conditions, features optimized hydraulics powered by JCB’s Intelliflow Hydraulics technology. The real-time fuel consumption data is available via the onboard interface screen and through JCB’s LiveLink, a remote monitoring solution. With these innovations, customers can expect savings of up to Rs. 2.90 lakhs annually. The new auto-engine long idle stop function also prevents fuel wastage during prolonged idle periods.
JCB India’s CEO and Managing Director, Deepak Shetty, stated, “For over four decades, innovation has driven our operations in India. This machine is designed to enhance our customers’ profitability, reducing fuel consumption by 14% and providing better returns on investment in today’s competitive landscape.”
The new excavator is 5% more productive and comes equipped with a Power Boost function for handling tough applications. Its quieter engine compartment ensures more comfortable and less fatiguing operation. The machine also delivers strong performance in Rock Breaker applications, and its new LED lights provide brighter and more durable illumination for nighttime or low-light operations.
Deepak Shetty added, “Customer satisfaction is at the heart of our mission. With this machine, we aim to help our customers tackle rising fuel costs while contributing to the government’s focus on reducing fossil fuel consumption, benefiting both the economy and the environment.”
JCB India, which produces a wide range of excavators from 1 to 38 tonnes, has built over 45,000 tracked excavators in the country to date. Leading infrastructure and development companies across India rely on JCB machines, which play a crucial role in accelerating work on major national projects as India continues to strengthen its global economic presence.
