Jaykay Enterprises Ltd (JKE) has entered into a Slump Sale Agreement to acquire the business undertaking of Patange Industries Private Limited, Pune, for a net consideration of ₹5 crore. The acquisition includes the transfer of core business operations, assets, intellectual property, and established customer relationships, marking a significant step in JKE’s expansion within India’s defence manufacturing ecosystem.
Patange Industries is engaged in the production of critical defence components, including warhead systems, and supplies to leading defence organisations such as BrahMos Aerospace and Bharat Dynamics Limited. Both companies are also key customers of JKE, making the acquisition a strong strategic fit that deepens existing relationships and enhances collaboration opportunities.
The transaction strengthens JKE’s capabilities across the missile systems value chain by integrating high-precision components into its portfolio. With this move, the company advances its presence in warhead system integration and expands its ability to deliver end-to-end missile subsystem solutions. The integration is also expected to improve operational efficiencies and margins through greater control over critical manufacturing processes.
