ITI Limited, India’s first public sector undertaking post-independence and a leading telecom manufacturing company, has been empaneled as a System Integrator by Guj Info Petro Limited (GIPL) for two major IT initiatives. The empanelment, valid for 36 months from the date of LOI, covers implementation of advanced IT infrastructure solutions and the establishment of a state-of-the-art Cyber Security Operation Centre (SOC) at GIPL’s Data Center in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The combined project value is estimated at around ₹110 crore.
Under the agreement, ITI Limited will deploy modern IT infrastructure across multiple projects, strengthening digital capabilities for government and enterprise clients. In addition, the SOC will provide comprehensive cybersecurity monitoring, management, and response, safeguarding GIPL’s mission-critical digital assets and ensuring resilient, secure operations.

With these new engagements, ITI Limited aims to accelerate Gujarat’s digital transformation while enhancing cybersecurity standards across the state. The company is already executing projects worth more than ₹1,200 crore in Gujarat, including broadband connectivity to 4,271 Gram Panchayats under the GUJNET project, which it continues to operate and maintain successfully. ITI has also implemented projects worth ₹107 crore for the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) in FY 2023–24 and 2024–25, modernizing Integrated Command and Control Centres (ICCC) at Sanand and Bharuch industrial areas, along with installing LED displays at key locations for public outreach.
