Celebrating the Day of Italian Research in the world, the Consul General of Italy in Mumbai has organized a Ted Talk on the Italian Way to research and innovation in robotics and industry 4.0. Italian Full Professor of Robotics Antonio Frisoli will share his valuable insights at the event supported by the Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and UNI-ITALIA.
In an effort to strengthen the bond between India and Italy, the Consul General of Italy in Mumbai, Alessandro De Massi, has organized a Ted Talk on the Italian Way to research and innovation in robotics and industry 4.0. The talk will be delivered by the renowned Italian Full Professor of Robotics, Antonio Frisoli, who will share his valuable insights and expertise with the Indian manufacturing and engineering community. The event, which will be held on April 6, coincides with the celebration of the Day of Italian research in the world in India. The Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and UNI-ITALIA support the event to promote further the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the two countries.

Antonio Frisoli is a highly accomplished Full Professor of Robotics and Engineering Mechanics at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSA), located in Pisa, Italy.
At SSSA, Antonio Frisoli holds two key positions: Director of the Human-Robot Interaction area at PERCRO laboratory of TeCIP Institute and Director of the macro-node of Artes centre on Collaborative Robotics, which brings together 130 Italian industries in the area of industry 4.0, enabling technologies. Antonio Frisoli earned his Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Robotics from the University of Pisa-Italy in 1998. Later, in 2002, he received his PhD with honours in Industrial and Information Engineering from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Italy.
As an expert in his field, Antonio Frisoli has contributed significantly to the advancement of robotics and engineering mechanics. His knowledge and expertise will be highly valuable for the Indian manufacturing and engineering community attending the Ted Talk on the Italian Way to research and innovation in robotics and industry 4.0.
