Interarch Building Solutions Limited, a leading player in the pre-engineered steel construction sector, will begin work on a new manufacturing facility in Kheda, Gujarat, on October 9. The project marks a significant step in the company’s expansion strategy and deepens its commitment to one of India’s most dynamic industrial states.
Spread across 12 acres, the upcoming plant will be equipped with cutting-edge technology and is expected to have an initial production capacity of 40,000 metric tonnes. The facility represents an investment of approximately ₹70 crore and will strengthen Interarch’s ability to cater to high-growth industries across western and central India. Proximity to major ports will also make it a strategic hub for exports.
Once operational, the plant is projected to create over 400 jobs—both direct and indirect—contributing to Gujarat’s position as a key manufacturing and industrial centre. It will also complete Interarch’s pan-India production network, adding to its existing capacities in northern and southern India.
Speaking about the development, Manish Garg, CEO of Interarch Building Solutions, said, “Breaking ground in Gujarat is a significant milestone for us. The state’s robust infrastructure and industrial ecosystem—particularly in fast-growing sectors like semiconductors, electric vehicles, and renewables—make it an ideal location for our next phase of growth. This investment allows us to scale up our capacity and better serve both domestic and global markets.”
Interarch is already a prominent name in Gujarat, currently involved in major projects including India’s first semiconductor manufacturing unit in Sanand, a large tyre facility in Bhuj, a solar project in Jamnagar, and advanced industrial units in Bharuch. The company has also delivered key projects for firms such as Adani, MG Motors, BKT Tyres, Asian Paints, Reliance Energy, and the Aditya Birla Group.
With this latest investment, Interarch is positioning itself to meet rising demand from sectors like data centres, electric mobility, and green energy. The company is targeting revenue of ₹2,400 crore by FY28, driven by capacity expansion and continued innovation in modular steel solutions.
