IntelliDB Enterprise has announced a strategic partnership with Yotta Data Services to provide sovereign, AI-ready database infrastructure for enterprises, government organisations and regulated industries in India. The partnership will combine IntelliDB’s AI-powered database platform with Yotta’s sovereign cloud, AI infrastructure and hyperscale data centre capabilities. The joint offering is designed to help organisations modernise database infrastructure and build AI-based applications while keeping sensitive data within India.

Through the partnership, customers will have access to fully managed database services hosted on Yotta’s sovereign cloud infrastructure. IntelliDB Enterprise is built on PostgreSQL technology and includes its own database features and AI capabilities. The platform is designed to help organisations manage databases more efficiently while improving security, performance and scalability.

Its AI-powered features can help identify potential problems before they result in downtime, improve database performance and reduce routine manual work for database teams. The company said its platform maintains human oversight over AI actions. Database activities and AI-driven actions are logged and can be reviewed, allowing organisations to maintain control over their operations.

IntelliDB also supports AI-based applications that require faster search and the ability to identify and explain information stored in enterprise databases. The platform is designed to support several major data protection and security standards, including HIPAA, GDPR, SOC-1, SOC-2 and PCI-DSS.

The partnership comes as more businesses look to use artificial intelligence in everyday applications and business processes. These applications require data infrastructure that can process information quickly while maintaining strong security and regulatory compliance.

By combining IntelliDB’s database technology with Yotta’s infrastructure, organisations can build and operate AI applications without moving sensitive data outside the country. The partnership will offer customers a fully managed database service, reducing the time internal IT teams spend on routine maintenance. Organisations will also be able to modernise older database systems using IntelliDB’s migration tools on Yotta’s cloud infrastructure.

Gagandeep Singh, Co-Founder and CEO of IntelliDB Enterprise, said strong data infrastructure is essential for organisations looking to scale AI initiatives. He said the partnership would make IntelliDB’s secure and AI-powered database platform available to more Indian enterprises and government organisations through infrastructure hosted entirely within India.

Sunil Gupta, Co-founder, Managing Director and CEO of Yotta Data Services, said the next phase of enterprise transformation will be driven by AI and trusted data. He said the partnership adds an AI-ready database layer to Yotta’s wider sovereign digital infrastructure.

IntelliDB Enterprise is inviting enterprises, cloud service providers and technology partners to join its journey of bringing AI-powered database automation to organisations worldwide. The company is seeking to collaborate with industry stakeholders to accelerate the adoption of intelligent database solutions and enable businesses to improve efficiency, scalability and automation across their technology environments.
