Informa Markets in India has officially introduced the Tools & Equipment Expo (TAEE) 2026 during the HTF-CWE Expo, presenting a consolidated platform that brings together the country’s leading industrial showcases. Scheduled for 17–19 September 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, TAEE will be India’s most extensive B2B exhibition dedicated to hand tools, power tools, cutting and welding equipment, industrial machinery, and related accessories.
The expo integrates four well-established events—Hand Tools & Fasteners Expo (HTF), Cutting & Welding Expo (CWE), International Machine Tools Expo (IMEX), and Used Machinery Expo (UMEX)—to create a single, innovation-driven forum for the industry. The launch event was attended by notable industry leaders including Laxmikanta Tolasariya, CEO, Aarya Powertech; Jai Jain, Partner, RL Jain Power Tools; Gayatri Mehta, HOD Marketing, Stellaris Specialities India Limited; and Vikas Ahlawat, India Sales Head, Wadfow & Ingco. They were joined by senior leadership from Informa Markets in India—Wouter Molman, Chief Commercial Officer; Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director; and Gagan Sahni, Group Director—underlining the stature of TAEE as a premier event for the sector.
Wouter Molman, Chief Commercial Officer, Informa Markets, noted “The Tools & Equipment Expo embodies our vision of creating platforms that not only foster domestic growth but also connect Indian industries with the global ecosystem. India is emerging as a pivotal manufacturing hub, and by merging four flagship events under one strong identity, TAEE is set to deliver greater scale, innovation, and collaboration. This step follows our integration with Hyve India, combining complementary strengths to expand our reach and capabilities. With a portfolio spanning over 800 brands across 30 countries, Informa Markets is uniquely positioned to elevate this sector on both national and international stages.”
Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said “India’s manufacturing sector is expected to touch USD 1.5 trillion by 2030, driven by infrastructure growth, modernization, and rising global demand. The Tools & Equipment Expo is not merely a merger of four legacy shows; it represents the creation of a holistic platform that will celebrate industry, encourage innovation, and strengthen global and domestic partnerships. Our goal is to support the sector in scaling new heights in technology adoption, exports, and competitiveness, aligning with India’s growth trajectory.”
TAEE 2026 will bring together specialized industry zones designed to highlight the latest advancements in tools, welding and cutting systems, industrial machinery, automation solutions, and pre-owned equipment. This structured approach ensures that visitors can explore comprehensive offerings across every segment of the tools and equipment ecosystem.
The exhibition will feature dynamic live demonstrations of cutting-edge tools and machinery, offering attendees first-hand exposure to the capabilities of modern technologies. An exclusive Innovation Arena will further spotlight new product launches and disruptive solutions, making it a focal point for forward-looking innovations that are reshaping the industry.
To strengthen business networks, TAEE 2026 will introduce a Channel Partner Zone dedicated to dealers, distributors, and OEMs, creating a strong platform for collaboration. The event will also host signature gatherings such as the Power Tools Dealers, Distributors & OEMs Meet and the prestigious Welding & Laser Technology Excellence Awards, designed to celebrate achievements while encouraging meaningful industry interactions.
The expo is expected to attract international trade delegations from over seven countries and more than 10,000 business visitors, creating a platform for global collaborations. An open seminar on future-ready manufacturing and maintenance will cover advancements in Industry 4.0, sustainability, and workforce transformation.
