Commenting on the 2025 edition, Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said “India’s food and beverage sector is undergoing rapid transformation, with consumers prioritising health, functionality, and sustainable sourcing. Fi India and ProPak India are designed to support this transition by bringing together global expertise and local insight. With the Indian functional food and beverage market expected to grow from USD 6.2 billion in 2024 to USD 16.25 billion by 2033 at a CAGR of 11.3%, these events will foster collaboration, spotlight emerging trends, and drive investments aligned with consumer expectations and regulatory advancements.”

Fi India 2025 will present a comprehensive showcase of food ingredients, catering to the evolving needs of the food and beverage industry. The event will feature a wide range of categories, including functional and specialty ingredients, nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, and natural and plant-based components. It aims to offer a complete view of ingredient innovation, with a focus on clean-label trends, health-focused formulations, and sustainable sourcing practices.

The exhibition will also include essential components that support food formulation and processing. These include stabilizers, thickeners, binders, texturizers, flavours, fragrances, spices, and starches. This wide array of ingredients will be of particular interest to professionals working in research and development, quality assurance, procurement, food technology, marketing, and retail sectors.

Esteemed companies from the ingredients sector will participate in this year’s event. Some of the key names include Brenntag Ingredients India Pvt Ltd, IMCD, Synthite Industries, Novozymes South Asia, Plant Lipids, Azelis India, Kerry Ingredients, and Palsgaard A/S. Their presence will provide attendees with direct access to leading solution providers and the latest in product innovation.

Running alongside Fi India, ProPak India 2025 will highlight advanced solutions in food processing and packaging. The exhibition will showcase a wide range of cutting-edge machinery, automation technologies, and intelligent packaging systems. At ProPak India, visitors can also benefit from focused initiatives such as the MSME Pavilion, live equipment demonstrations, business matchmaking, and engagement with both domestic and global stakeholders.

India’s position as a top global producer of milk, spices, fruits, and vegetables provides a rich foundation for its expanding food processing and packaging industries. Urbanisation and rising incomes are expected to push food consumption to USD 1.2 trillion by 2025–26.

The country’s food ingredients market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 6.7%, with specialty ingredients alone expected to reach USD 8.3 billion by 2033. Simultaneously, the packaging industry is undergoing a shift toward eco-friendly, smart, and traceable solutions, with the Indian packaging market forecasted to exceed USD 140 billion by 2029, growing at 11% CAGR.

In line with these trends, both shows will address sustainability, innovation, and consumer-centric design. The Fi India Awards will return to recognise outstanding achievements and leadership in ingredient innovation and product excellence.
