Infobip has integrated NVIDIA DGX B200 systems into its data centers, becoming one of the first companies in Central Europe to adopt NVIDIA’s Blackwell GPU technology. The company plans to leverage the supercomputing systems for the IPCEI-CIS initiative, a European Union-backed project focused on developing next-gen communications platforms.

This deployment supports the EU’s digital sovereignty goals by ensuring that communications infrastructure adheres to European data protection and transparency regulations. Specifically, the IPCEI-CIS project aims to strengthen Europe’s position in the global communications market while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The NVIDIA DGX B200 systems are equipped with eight Blackwell GPUs, offering 1.4TB of GPU memory, and powered by two fifth-generation Intel Xeon CPUs. These high-performance systems are optimized for both AI training and inference, providing the computational power necessary for advancing AI development.

Damir Prusac, Vice President of Research Alliances at Infobip, emphasized that this deployment will accelerate AI model development and lead to more efficient, AI-driven solutions. Carlo Ruiz, Vice President of Enterprise Solutions at NVIDIA, added that global communications platforms face rising demands for secure, scalable AI solutions.

The integration comes as generative AI adoption rapidly increases in enterprise communications. Gartner predicts that by 2028, 80% of enterprises will use generative AI for conversational customer experiences, up from just 20% in 2024.

Infobip, a global cloud communications platform, connects businesses to their customers throughout the customer lifecycle. Its infrastructure reaches over seven billion mobile devices worldwide, with more than 9,700 connections, including 800 direct operator links across six continents.

Founded in 2006 in Zagreb by CEO Silvio Kutić, Roberto Kutić, and Izabel Jelenić, Infobip has been recognized as a leader in several industry reports. Notable recognitions include its ranking as a leader in Juniper Research’s Conversational AI Leaderboard and a leader in the CPaaS category in IDC’s MarketScape for the third year in a row.

As the demand for unified customer engagement solutions grows, Infobip’s platform integrates Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) with AI capabilities to meet market needs. The partnership with NVIDIA is part of Infobip’s broader strategy to invest in technologies that enhance AI-powered communication solutions in today’s increasingly digital business world.
