Media Fusion and Crain Communications are proud to announce the inaugural co-hosting of two major events—the UTECH India Sustainable Polyurethane & Foam Expo (UTECH ISPUF) and the Plastics Recycling Show India (PRSI). These events will take place from December 4-6, 2024, at Hall 4 of the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, setting a new standard for sustainability within the polyurethane, foam, and plastics recycling industries.
The press conference held on November 18, 2024, at the Jio Convention Center featured numerous prominent industry leaders, including Mr. AniruddhaNakhawa from the Builders Association of India, Mr. Virendra Kumar from Duroflex Pvt. Ltd., Mr. SaurabhGoenka from Pashupati Group, Mr. Nitin Sharma from Sri RamraghavEcomills Private Limited, and other respected figures. UTECH ISPUF Expo will introduce India to the world’s leading platform for PU and foam solutions, with a strong focus on sustainable innovations such as bio-polyols, advanced recycling machinery, and new foam technologies. This aligns perfectly with India’s growing demand for eco-friendly materials and a market that is projected to reach USD 5.18 billion by 2031, growing at a CAGR of 8.0%. The Expo will also feature the Middle East’s top mattress show, the Sleep Expo, which will showcase recycling technologies for mattresses, textiles, and other materials. Duroflex Pvt. Ltd. will serve as the Mattress & Cushioning Partner for this segment.
PRSI 2024 will introduce the globally respected Plastics Recycling Show to India. With the Indian plastics recycling market expected to grow from 9.9 million tons in 2023 to 23.7 million tons by 2032 at a CAGR of 9.86%, this event will explore vital topics like circular economy practices, waste management technologies, and sustainable solutions. The event is supported by SI Group, Pashupati Group, Ribotl, and SrichakraPolyplast.
Mr. TaherPatrawala, Managing Director of Media Fusion, expressed, “Combining UTECH and PRS under one roof underscores our commitment to driving India’s sustainability goals. Technological progress, innovation, and the growing demand for energy-efficient solutions are the engines driving market growth. These events will offer a global platform for showcasing innovations and fostering collaboration towards a more sustainable future.”
Alongside the exhibition, a three-day conference will provide industry experts a stage to discuss sustainable development, technological advancements, and market trends. With over 10,000 attendees expected and 150 leading exhibitors—such as Chemie Products Private Limited, Duroflex Pvt. Ltd., Speb Adhesives, and others—the events will highlight the latest eco-friendly solutions.
