India’s Premier Clean Energy Convergence: REI & TBSI 2025 to Transform the Renewable and Storage Sectors

Manufacturing-News

Informa Markets in India, the country’s leading organizer of B2B industry platforms, has announced the 18th edition of Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo — Asia’s largest and most comprehensive clean energy gathering. Scheduled to take place from October 30 to November 1, 2025, at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, REI 2025 will be held alongside the 3rd edition of The Battery Show India (TBSI), reinforcing India’s mission toward a sustainable and carbon-neutral future.

Building on the strong legacy of the 2024 edition, this year’s co-located expos will elevate industry collaboration by uniting the entire energy value chain — from renewable generation and battery innovation to advanced storage and mobility solutions — under the theme “Decoding Pathways to Achieve Net Zero.”

REI 2025 is set to draw over 700 exhibitors, 1,000 brands, 35,000+ visitors, and 250 global energy leaders, including key policymakers and innovators. The exhibition will highlight cutting-edge technologies across solar energy, battery storage, EV charging infrastructure, biomass, wind power, and related green solutions.

Meanwhile, The Battery Show India (TBSI) 2025 will serve as South Asia’s most prominent platform for advanced battery manufacturing and storage technologies. Backed by the Department of Science & Technology and the Ministry of Heavy Industries, it will host 350+ exhibitors, 400+ global brands, and 20,000+ professionals from sectors including electric vehicles, renewable projects, and technology development.

The Government of Odisha joins as a State Partner, underscoring India’s policy-level support for strengthening the domestic energy storage ecosystem. Country pavilions from China, Japan, Korea, Germany, and Belgium, supported by the EU Cluster Collaboration Platform, will further enrich international collaboration.

The event will feature a Start-up Pavilion to spotlight emerging innovations and an Investor Zone to connect entrepreneurs with venture partners. Additionally, a Bio Energy Pavilion, supported by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), will showcase over 65 global companies, emphasizing the growing diversity of renewable technologies.

Leading exhibitors at REI include Reliance, Adani Solar, Vikram India, Waaree, Havells, Luminous Power, INOX Solar, and Goldi Solar. TBSI will feature key participants such as Semco, Thermofisher, Rubamin, CBC Corporation, BASF, and TVS Indeon, among others.

Commenting on the event, Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said “Renewable Energy India 2025 reflects India’s determined shift toward clean energy independence. With over 230 GW of renewable capacity, the nation now sources more than half of its total power generation from non-fossil fuels — an extraordinary transformation from 76 GW in 2014. REI and TBSI 2025 together showcase the innovation, collaboration, and leadership driving India’s clean energy revolution.”

The Battery Tech Conference will feature 100+ global experts discussing next-generation materials, storage integration, and India’s roadmap toward Net Zero. India is projected to invest over USD 360 billion in renewable infrastructure by 2030 to achieve its 500 GW non-fossil capacity goal. With installed renewable capacity tripling from 76 GW in 2014 to over 226 GW in 2025, the nation stands at the forefront of global clean energy advancement.

The Indian EV battery market, valued at USD 16.77 billion in 2023, is expected to reach USD 27.70 billion by 2028, while the Battery Management System market is forecast to expand from USD 278 million in 2024 to USD 1.22 billion by 2033 — signaling immense opportunities for investment, technology innovation, and sustainable growth. Together, REI and TBSI 2025 will serve as the defining platform where global industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators come together to shape the future of renewable energy, storage, and mobility in India and beyond.
