Imperial Auto Industries, supported by Warburg Pincus, has acquired MetallwerkBiebighäuser, a German company that makes metal tubular parts for the automotive industry. The deal also includes Biebighäuser’s subsidiary in Slovakia and was completed through Imperial’s German branch, Imperial Auto Germany GmbH.
Biebighäuser supplies important parts to major European carmakers like Volkswagen, BMW, and Mercedes. This acquisition will help Imperial Auto grow in Europe and meet the increasing demand for electric vehicle parts.

Imperial Auto has seen strong growth in the past three years, more than doubling its revenue. With this acquisition, the company expects to generate over Rs 4,500 crore in revenue.
