Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has shared its financial performance for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, showing a mixed outlook compared to the previous year. For Q4 FY25, the company reported a profit after tax of ₹1,582.56 crore, marking a 4.05% decline from ₹1,649.32 crore in the same quarter of FY24.
Despite the drop in profit, Hyundai’s total revenue from operations in the quarter grew by 2.51%, reaching ₹17,561.95 crore, compared to ₹17,131.82 crore in Q4 FY24. The automaker’s profit before tax for the quarter was ₹2,131.17 crore, while its total expenses amounted to ₹15,632.34 crore, with the largest share coming from the cost of materials consumed, totaling ₹12,883.81 crore.
For the entire fiscal year FY25, Hyundai Motor India recorded a profit after tax of ₹5,492.25 crore, reflecting a 7.76% decline from ₹5,954.31 crore in FY24. Annual revenue from operations stood at ₹67,653.81 crore, showing a slight decrease of 1.29% from ₹68,538.61 crore in the previous fiscal year. The company’s profit before tax for the year was ₹7,391.06 crore, and basic earnings per share (EPS) for FY25 was ₹67.59.
The Board of Directors has recommended a final dividend of ₹21 per equity share for FY25, which is subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. HMIL continues to be India’s leading passenger car exporter since inception and is among the top three contributors to Hyundai Motor Company’s global sales, accounting for 18.5% of global volumes in calendar year 2024.
The Sriperumbudur plant also serves as a benchmark in sustainable manufacturing and smart factory operations. In addition, through the Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the company has invested ₹400 crore in community development over the last five years, impacting over 2 million lives annually under the CSR pillars of Earth, Mobility, and Hope.
These initiatives have generated income benefits exceeding ₹40 crore, supporting community self-reliance and long-term socio-economic development. As HMIL enters its 30th year, it remains focused on delivering advanced mobility solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction, and contributing to national progress through continued investment in innovation, manufacturing, and corporate responsibility.
