Hyderabad will serve as the venue for the second Global Capability Center (GCC) Leadership Conclave, scheduled for July 30, 2025. Organized by The Leadership Federation, the event is expected to draw over 300 senior executives from global enterprises, government bodies, and innovation ecosystems. The conclave aims to shape the roadmap for India’s next phase of GCC expansion, focusing on how these centers are shifting from back-end delivery units to pivotal innovation and strategy engines.
The gathering will feature prominent leaders from various Indian state governments, key industry bodies, and technology-focused think tanks. Together, they will engage in critical discussions to develop policies and frameworks around infrastructure, talent development, and digital readiness tailored to India’s growing GCC sector.
“India already houses more than 1,600 GCCs that support IT, finance, engineering, HR, and customer services. However, artificial intelligence is now reshaping the traditional models of service delivery,” noted Paul Roehrig, Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer at Ascendion. “We see the emergence of a new era—where AI-driven platforms and human expertise come together to generate business outcomes at scale. This conclave is where these ideas will take shape, helping GCCs evolve into global powerhouses of transformation.”
The speaker list includes notable figures from major global organizations such as Diageo, PepsiCo, HSBC, Merck Group, Qualcomm, Microsoft, JLL, Adobe, Marriott Tech Accelerator, Medtronic, Wells Fargo, Oppo India, AMD, and many more. Senior government officials, including Jayesh Ranjan, IAS from the Telangana government, will also participate in key discussions.
Commenting on the significance of the conclave, Robin Joffe, Partner & Managing Director at Frost & Sullivan and Advisory Board Member of The Leadership Federation, said, “This is more than a conference. It’s a defining moment in repositioning India as the core of global enterprise innovation. As GCCs move beyond their traditional roles, Hyderabad—with its technology ecosystem, talent availability, and policy leadership—stands out as the ideal destination for building intelligent and inclusive capability hubs.”
This year’s program includes sessions on generative AI, automation, talent transformation, innovation-driven Centers of Excellence, compliance standards, inclusive growth, and large-scale IP development. The conclave will also feature exclusive research presentations, policy roundtables, and recognition through The Leadership Federation’s Leadership Awards, highlighting excellence across the sector.
Ascendion, the event’s knowledge partner, will bring its deep expertise in AI-led engineering, intelligent systems design, and enterprise transformation. Tools like AAVA™ and dedicated showcases in the Experience Zone will allow participants to engage with real-world applications in generative AI, automation, and digital delivery.
