HPE today announced a major expansion of its cybersecurity, resilience, and compliance offerings that provide a comprehensive, multi-layered defense for enterprises. At Black Hat USA, HPE is showcasing its unified secure networking solutions by combining the strengths of HPE Aruba Networking and HPE Juniper Networking. This integrated approach aims to provide enterprises with enhanced security and operational efficiency. Alongside this, HPE is unveiling major updates across its product range to better protect organizations against evolving cyber threats.

One of the key advancements is a new SASE copilot for HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect, designed to offer intelligent insights into network activity, security vulnerabilities, and potential risks. Complementing this, HPE Aruba Networking Central NAC expands its zero-trust policy enforcement to cover not only HPE Juniper devices but also third-party hardware, strengthening overall network defenses.

In the area of hybrid cloud data protection, HPE is introducing the Alletra Storage MP X10000, a next-generation modern data protection system. This solution leverages software-defined, scalable, all-flash object storage optimized for AI workloads. It sets a new performance benchmark as the fastest enterprise backup storage available today, enabling quicker recovery and better resilience.

To simplify system security and disaster recovery processes, HPE Zerto Software has launched a new integration hub that allows third-party applications to connect with Zerto data. CrowdStrike is the exclusive launch partner for this integration, enhancing organizations’ ability to respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents.

David Hughes, SVP & GM of SASE & Security at HPE Networking, emphasized the growing need for sophisticated tools to counter increasingly complex cyber threats. He highlighted that HPE’s security solutions focus on a layered zero-trust strategy, incorporating continuous validation, threat detection, and automated response capabilities to safeguard IT environments comprehensively.

Building on previous innovations like GreenLake Intelligence and agentic mesh technology, HPE is further expanding intelligent features across its portfolio. The new SASE copilot for Aruba EdgeConnect analyzes network and security conditions, offering actionable insights for issues such as open ports, unpatched systems, security gaps, and unusual network activity.

Additionally, HPE Aruba Networking Central NAC now provides granular, identity-based control policies for users and IoT devices across HPE Juniper and third-party platforms. Integration with AppEngine supports real-time application classification to enforce risk-based policies, while WebCC and URL filtering add a proactive layer of threat defense by blocking malicious websites, harmful IPs, and risky content within HPE’s unified SASE framework.

HPE has made the Alletra Storage MP X10000 generally available, aiming to boost enterprise data resilience against cyber threats. This system’s scalable architecture allows organizations to increase capacity or performance as data grows. It delivers backup speeds up to 1.2 petabytes per hour—nearly twice as fast as competitors—and its StoreOnce Catalyst Software enhances storage efficiency with data reduction rates of up to 60:1, while seamlessly working with popular data protection platforms like Commvault Cloud, Cohesity NetBackup, and Veeam Data Platform.

HPE Zerto Software unveils a new integration hub that connects third-party cybersecurity tools, with CrowdStrike as the exclusive launch partner. This hub links HPE Zerto to cybersecurity software and enterprise networking systems—including upcoming support for HPE Networking devices—to generate insights, automate workflows, and simplify disaster recovery processes.

The partnership between CrowdStrike and HPE Zerto combines advanced threat detection with rapid cyber recovery capabilities. The CrowdStrike Falcon® platform identifies malicious activity targeting critical workloads in real time, enabling HPE Zerto to restore applications and virtual machines to safe recovery points moments before attacks. This integration also accelerates recovery within the HPE Cyber Resilience Vault, a fully isolated, zero-trust environment combining HPE Zerto, HPE Alletra Storage MP, HPE ProLiant, and HPE Aruba for ransomware protection.

“Our collaboration with HPE reflects our shared commitment to providing integrated solutions that help organizations stay ahead of evolving threats,” said Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer at CrowdStrike. “By pairing the Falcon platform’s detection power with HPE Zerto’s recovery strengths, we help companies minimize disruptions and maintain business continuity—even against ransomware and other advanced attacks.”

HPE continues to validate Zerto against U.S. government cybersecurity standards, including CISA, STIG, and FIPS guidelines. Additionally, HPE has established a cybersecurity Center of Excellence focused on ransomware detection and validation at the storage infrastructure level. The HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 has been tested against the top 25 ransomware strains.

Following the recent acquisition of Juniper Networks, HPE will showcase its unified network security portfolio alongside the latest data protection and cyber resilience solutions at Black Hat USA, August 5–7, 2025, at booth #2261. This event marks a key milestone, demonstrating how HPE integrates intelligent networking and advanced data protection to safeguard hybrid cloud environments with unmatched precision, scale, and ease of management.

Featured innovations include HPE Juniper Networking’s Next-Generation Firewalls, with the Juniper SRX 4700 delivering industry-leading firewall throughput per rack unit (up to 1.4 Tbps), enabling enterprises, telecom providers, and cloud operators to implement true zero trust architectures and mesh firewall capabilities for superior performance and simplified operations.
