Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has unveiled new deployment options for HPE Aruba Networking Central, its AI-powered network management solution. These options include a virtual private cloud (VPC) for businesses seeking cloud agility while maintaining control over data security, and an on-premises option for operations independent of cloud connectivity. With this expansion, HPE continues to lead the industry in advanced network management, offering cloud-native AI-driven operations through a range of deployment models, including dedicated VPC, on-premises, public SaaS, and network-as-a-service (NaaS).
A key addition to this expansion is HPE Aruba Networking Central On-Premises for Government, which is designed to meet government security requirements with FIPS 140-2 certified server hardware. This solution caters to industries such as AI data capture, training, and inferencing, where a higher level of control is required, providing both air-gapped on-premises and VPC options. HPE’s GreenLake cloud services, with a global presence, further strengthen the deployment options available.
Innovations within HPE Aruba Networking Central include continuous AI-driven AIOps that monitor critical network operations to optimize performance and preempt issues. The platform uses AI assistants to act as network architects, offering diagnostics and recommendations to improve network capacity, security, and configuration integrity. The new full-stack network observability features further enhance IT monitoring, including a one-year subscription to OpsRamp for third-party device monitoring.
The latest developments also include enhanced visibility into applications like Microsoft Teams for better voice and video call quality. With an expanded telemetry data lake of over 5.2 million devices, HPE Aruba Networking Central utilizes anonymized data to improve predictive analytics and AI capabilities. This data helps to drive deeper insights into network performance, which can be used to optimize IT systems across a wide range of environments.
Phil Mottram, EVP and general manager of HPE Aruba Networking, emphasized that these innovations address the increasing need for regional data sovereignty. “With these updates, HPE provides unique network management flexibility for businesses, governments, and non-profit organizations, helping them meet security, privacy, and regulatory requirements,” he stated.
The new Aruba Networking Central deployment options offer four flexible models to suit a wide range of regulatory and operational requirements. Organizations can choose between cloud-delivered SaaS, virtual private cloud (VPC), on-premises, or Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) deployments. This versatility allows businesses to tailor their network management approach according to specific security policies, infrastructure needs, or scalability goals.
A key highlight of these deployment options is the integration of always-on, AI-powered AIOps. This feature continuously optimizes network performance while proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact users. Additionally, Aruba has expanded its global points of presence (PoP), ensuring efficient data routing and consistently high performance across distributed environments.
To further enhance observability, Aruba Networking Central now includes advanced telemetry features with support for real-time data collection and third-party device integration. Integrated APIs enable seamless sharing of network insights with other IT systems, empowering organizations with a more comprehensive view of their infrastructure and helping to drive smarter operational decisions.
Since its launch in 2014, HPE Aruba Networking Central has consistently provided powerful tools for managing networks across various sectors, including wired, wireless, LAN, WAN, and IoT. The platform’s flexible deployment options and AI-powered insights have made it a preferred choice for organizations such as Nobu Hotels and the Royal Jaarbeurs in the Netherlands. Available through a subscription model, HPE Aruba Networking Central can be delivered through managed service providers (MSPs) and channel partners. Hewlett Packard Enterprise continues to innovate across networking, hybrid cloud, and AI, helping businesses harness data for improved decision-making and operational efficiency.
