Honeywell Completes Warehouse Solutions Sale

Honeywell

Honeywell Technologies has completed the sale of its Warehouse and Workflow Solutions (WWS) business to American Industrial Partners (AIP) in an all-cash transaction, marking another significant step in the company’s strategic transformation into a dedicated automation-focused enterprise. The divested business operates under the well-established Intelligrated and Transnorm brands.

The transaction aligns with Honeywell Technologies’ long-term strategy of sharpening its focus on core automation technologies serving the building, industrial, and process industries. By divesting the Warehouse and Workflow Solutions business, the company aims to strengthen investments in advanced automation capabilities while positioning itself to capitalize on the industry’s shift toward increasingly autonomous operations.

Commenting on the transaction, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Vimal Kapur said the completion of the sale represents another milestone in Honeywell Technologies’ ongoing portfolio optimization strategy. “The completion of the Warehouse and Workflow Solutions divestiture further strengthens Honeywell Technologies as a focused automation company. This strategic move allows us to dedicate greater resources to developing technologies that will support the industrial sector’s transition from automation to autonomy while creating long-term value for our customers and shareholders,” Mr Kapur said.

The latest divestiture follows a series of major corporate restructuring initiatives undertaken by Honeywell Technologies over the past two years. In June 2026, the company completed the spin-off of its Aerospace Technologies business, which now operates independently as Honeywell Aerospace and is publicly listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange. Earlier, in October 2025, Honeywell separated its Advanced Materials business, now operating as Solstice Advanced Materials.

Alongside portfolio restructuring, Honeywell Technologies has continued to expand its automation capabilities through targeted acquisitions. Since 2023, the company has completed approximately $11.5 billion in acquisitions, adding businesses that enhance its expertise in industrial automation, process technologies, cybersecurity, access solutions, liquefied natural gas systems, equipment protection, and catalyst technologies. These acquisitions have strengthened the company’s technology portfolio while supporting its long-term growth strategy.

Honeywell Technologies has also streamlined its operations by divesting non-core businesses. Following the sale of its Personal Protective Equipment business in 2025, the company has announced the planned sale of its Productivity Solutions and Services business, with the transaction expected to close in early August 2026.
