HMPL to Invest Rs 2,500 Crore in 500 MW Solar Project in Andhra Pradesh

Hazoor Multi Projects Limited (HMPL), a key player in infrastructure and energy, is planning to invest Rs 2,500 crore in a 500 MW solar project in Andhra Pradesh. The company has submitted a proposal to the state government for setting up the project in Prakasam district, covering an area of 2,000 acres.

The Andhra Pradesh government has stated that the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation (NREDCAP) will assist in the successful execution of the solar park. Additionally, HMPL has been requested to provide a detailed project report (DPR) for the initiative.

HMPL is focused on renewable energy and road construction projects, operating on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) model. Recently, the company also ventured into the domestic renewable energy market, with plans to develop 1.2 GW of clean energy projects across 4,200 acres in Maharashtra.
