Hisense, a global leader in electronics and home appliances, has partnered with EPACK Durable Limited (EDL) to set up a new manufacturing facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. The plant will produce air conditioners and other household appliances, strengthening Hisense’s foothold in the Indian market.

As part of its localisation strategy, Hisense also plans to export appliances manufactured at the new facility to key international markets.
