Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd (HCCB), the key bottling partner of Coca-Cola in India, has named Hemant Rupani as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective September 8. Based in Bengaluru, HCCB will see Hemant take charge after a successful tenure with Mondelez International, where he currently serves as Business Unit President for Southeast Asia. His leadership spans markets including Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. Hemant succeeds Juan Pablo Rodriguez, who is transitioning to a new leadership role within the Coca-Cola network.

Reporting directly to HCCB’s board of directors, Hemant brings extensive experience from both Indian and global companies. His leadership track record includes driving growth and operational excellence across diverse sectors. Starting his career with ICI India in 1997, Hemant went on to work at PepsiCo, Infosys Technologies, Vodafone, and Britannia Industries, holding senior roles that shaped his strategic and commercial skills. He joined Mondelez in 2016 as Sales Director for India, later advancing to lead operations in Vietnam before moving to his current regional role in 2022.

A graduate in mechanical engineering from Regional Engineering College, Jaipur, Hemant also holds an MBA in marketing from Delhi University’s Faculty of Management Studies. Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages is Coca-Cola’s largest bottler in India. In late 2024, Coca-Cola announced that Jubilant Bhartia Group will acquire a 40% stake in HCCB’s parent firm, Hindustan Coca-Cola Holdings Pvt. Ltd.
