Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd announced its financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2026, highlighting robust growth and the commissioning of its first anode material production facility at Mahistikry, West Bengal. For FY26, the company reported revenue from operations of ₹4,660.7 crore. Fourth quarter revenue stood at ₹1,288 crore, reflecting an increase of approximately 14% compared to the corresponding period last year. The company delivered a strong financial performance, driven by stable volumes, improved margins, and a sustained focus on value-added products.

On a consolidated basis, Himadri recorded its highest-ever annual EBITDA of ₹1,006 crore, marking a growth of around 19% year-on-year. Profit Before Tax (PBT) rose to ₹1,001 crore, up nearly 24%, while Profit After Tax (PAT) increased significantly by about 36% to ₹755 crore. The momentum continued in Q4 FY26, with EBITDA at ₹280 crore, PBT at ₹268 crore, and PAT at ₹208 crore, all registering healthy year-on-year growth.

A major milestone during the year was the commissioning of the company’s first anode material manufacturing facility at Mahistikry with an initial capacity of 200 MTPA. This development follows over a decade of in-house research and innovation in anode chemistry, enabling Himadri to build an integrated technology platform spanning raw material processing to finished products. The facility leverages in-house production of high-purity coal tar pitch, ensuring consistency, quality, and operational efficiency.

The company also commenced operations at a new 70,000 MTPA Speciality Carbon Black line at the same location, increasing total carbon black capacity to 250,000 MTPA. This expansion positions Mahistikry as one of the largest single-location facilities for speciality carbon black globally and strengthens the company’s ability to serve high-value sectors such as batteries, plastics, coatings, and conductive materials.

Commenting on the performance, Anurag Choudhary, Chairman, Managing Director and CEO, stated that FY26 marked a defining year for the company, reflecting consistent execution, operational discipline, and a long-term strategic focus. He noted that the recent milestones provide a strong foundation for future growth, particularly in advanced materials and clean energy applications.

During the year, the company also received multiple recognitions, including the EcoVadis Platinum Medal for sustainability excellence and certifications for responsible manufacturing practices. Looking ahead, Himadri remains focused on innovation-led growth, strategic investments, and expanding its presence in emerging sectors such as energy storage and electric mobility, while maintaining a disciplined approach to capital allocation and long-term value creation.
