Hikvision has received two major international certifications—ETSI EN 303 645 and EN 18031—awarded by Bureau Veritas, a globally recognized authority in inspection, testing, and certification. These certifications highlight the company’s alignment with global security and compliance standards across its Internet of Things (IoT) product portfolio.

The ETSI EN 303 645 certification represents a key European benchmark for securing consumer IoT devices. Achieving this standard confirms that Hikvision’s products meet international requirements for privacy protection and data security. The certification demonstrates the company’s ability to support a secure IoT ecosystem through robust product design and risk mitigation strategies.

EN 18031 was developed by CEN-CENELEC JTC 13, Working Group 8 (WG8), which focuses on cybersecurity and data protection. This certification strengthens the cybersecurity posture of radio equipment by addressing network integrity, privacy safeguards, and protection of financial assets. It also requires proactive defense against known vulnerabilities and common cyber threats.

Hikvision has formed a strategic partnership with Secura, a Netherlands-based cybersecurity laboratory, to support international certification initiatives related to EN 303 645, EN 18031, and IEC 62443. This cooperation centers on standardizing security protocols, improving product development frameworks, and advancing data security in IoT and radio-connected equipment.

Through its expertise in IoT sensing and artificial intelligence, Hikvision has broadened its application of smart technologies. Several of its cybersecurity innovations have been recognized with national awards for scientific and technological achievement. The company remains focused on reinforcing its security operations framework, ensuring full compliance with industry standards, and contributing to a safer, more resilient digital ecosystem.
