Hikrobot made its debut at the 17th edition of Automation Expo in Mumbai by unveiling the Forklift Latent Mobile Robot QF-1000, marking its first introduction to the Indian market. The event, held from August 21-24 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, also featured a demonstration of the Tugging AMR.
The expo was inaugurated by Subramanian Sarma, President of Energy and Board Member at Larsen & Toubro, along with other prominent figures from the Indian automation sector. Hikrobot showcased its latest advancements in machine vision and mobile robots at the event.
Ashish P. Dhakan, Managing Director and CEO of Prama Hikvision India Pvt. Ltd., emphasized the significance of the launch: “We are excited to introduce the Forklift Latent Mobile Robot QF-1000, along with other cutting-edge solutions such as the Tugging AMR and our advanced machine vision products. This expo serves as a premier platform for presenting these innovations to the Indian automation industry.”
The Forklift Latent Mobile Robot QF-1000 integrates a chassis and forks to enhance flexibility and directly handle pallet loads. Unlike traditional forklifts, this robot’s lightweight design suits low-floor load-bearing environments and supports efficient operations in narrow spaces, with a 25% increase in moving speed and enhanced 360° safety protection. It features Wi-Fi connectivity and real-time status updates through a screen, status indicator, and speaker.
The HIKROBOT F-7 2000 TUGGING AMR, a new addition to the product line, offers natural navigation, automatic hooking and unhooking capabilities, and a 2000 kg load capacity with high-precision movement accuracy of 5 mm.
Hikrobot’s booth highlighted a range of machine vision solutions, including the AI smart camera MV-SC6000, deep learning code reading algorithm MV-ID3000XM, and the VC2000/VC3000 Controllers for visual inspection. The display also featured static and dynamic DWS systems, smart vision sensors, and various other machine vision accessories and software.
The expo drew a strong response from industry professionals and stakeholders across India, supported by a comprehensive conference program covering CEO insights, process automation, robotics, and factory automation.
