HFCL Ltd has recently announced the acquisition of a significant order worth Rs 1,127 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL). This contract is intended for the overhaul of the Optical Transport Network (OTN) infrastructure spanning the nationwide network of BSNL.

The ambitious installation process is expected to conclude within 18 months, covering Supply, Installation, Commissioning, and Maintenance of OTN. The envisioned outcome of this visionary network is remarkable, as BSNL, fortified by this Optical Network upgrade, will boast an impressive data capacity of 12 terabytes, effectively meeting its data needs for the next decade.
