Hero Future Energies, one of the prominent participants in the renewable energy sector, has revealed a strategic tolling arrangement with PIXON Green Energy, a top-tier domestic module manufacturer, to procure solar PV modules.

According to the agreement, Hero Future Energies will receive a supply of high-efficiency solar modules from PIXON Green Energy. The arrangement specifies an allocation of up to 500 MW per year for a duration of two years, sourced from PIXON’s fully automated production line located in Rajkot, Gujarat.
In response to the ongoing disruptions in global supply chains, Srivatsan Iyer, the Global CEO of Hero Future Energies, emphasized the significance of their recent development. He expressed that forging a strategic partnership is pivotal for enhancing cost control and gaining increased transparency in their supply chain.
This move aims to mitigate potential setbacks that could adversely affect their projects, encompassing both cost implications and scheduling challenges. The CEO anticipates that this collaboration will furnish a consistent module supply at more stable prices, facilitating the advancement of their project pipeline.
PIXON Green Energy is set to receive a guaranteed supply of modules from Hero Future Energies, leveraging their 1.2 GW under-construction portfolio and a robust pipeline of upcoming projects. This assured demand will empower PIXON Green Energy to enhance capacity planning and allocate resources more efficiently, leading to streamlined operations.
Embarking on this collaborative venture, PIXON Green Energy’s Co-founder and Director, Sumit Mehta, expresses optimism about the partnership with Hero Future Energies. He believes that the collaboration will strengthen transparency and trust in business relationships.
