Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited (HCCB) has announced the commissioning of a high-speed Kinley water production line at its Avinya manufacturing facility in Telangana. Located in Banda Thimmapur in Siddipet district, the Avinya plant is one of the company’s most advanced facilities and represents a significant investment in India’s beverage manufacturing sector.
Spread across 49 acres with a planned investment exceeding INR 2,000 crore, the Avinya facility currently operates seven advanced production lines. The newly commissioned Kinley line is among the fastest in the Coca-Cola India Southwest Asia system, capable of producing 500 ml PET bottles at up to 1,350 bottles per minute and 1-litre bottles at 1,000 bottles per minute. This sets a new benchmark for speed, precision, and operational efficiency in packaged drinking water production.
The production line is built on an integrated automation framework designed to enhance process visibility, consistency, and control. It features a state-of-the-art water purification system with mineral injection and ozonisation technology to ensure high-quality standards. Advanced lamella pack technology enables up to 90 percent water recovery, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable resource management.
An integrated human-machine interface allows centralized monitoring and improved operational reliability, while an advanced dosing system enhances packaging stability and product integrity. The equipment has also been optimized for energy efficiency, with real-time monitoring systems that help reduce downtime and enable faster changeovers, improving responsiveness to market demand.
Avinash Kant Kumar, Head of Integrated Supply Chain at HCCB, stated that the Avinya facility sets a new benchmark in beverage manufacturing by combining advanced automation with sustainable practices. He added that the commissioning of the Kinley production line marks a significant milestone in strengthening the company’s manufacturing capabilities and supporting regional industrial growth.
The Avinya facility complements HCCB’s existing plant in Ameenpur, contributing to the company’s expanding footprint in Telangana. Together, these facilities support employment for over 1,000 individuals and reinforce HCCB’s focus on building a technology-driven, agile, and future-ready supply chain.
