Havells India Limited has launched its latest range of air purifiers, the Studio Meditate AP400 and AP250, featuring advanced technology inspired by systems used on the International Space Station. The air purifiers employ photo-catalytic oxidation to remove microscopic impurities like dust, bacteria, and fungal spores, according to the company.
Equipped with air quality indicators (AQI), the devices automatically adjust fan speed based on the surrounding air quality. They also feature IoT connectivity and wireless phone charging capabilities. The AP400 model offers a clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 400m²/h, while the AP250 delivers 250m²/h.
Deepak Bansal, Head of Electric Consumer Durables at Havells, emphasized the innovative technology behind the purifiers. “These devices are designed to not only capture visible particles but also actively neutralize microscopic impurities like bacteria, viruses, and volatile organic compounds,” Bansal said. He added that the Studio Meditate series is aimed at improving indoor air quality, making it a crucial product for modern homes focused on health and well-being.
