The HARTING Technology Group, a leading global provider of industrial connectivity solutions, has announced plans to consolidate its top management positions in Switzerland. This strategic move aims to enhance global oversight and management capabilities, marking a significant milestone in the company’s evolution as a key player in connectivity solutions worldwide.
Philip Harting, CEO of the HARTING Technology Group, expressed his enthusiasm about this development, stating, “Establishing our global headquarters in Switzerland is a pivotal step in our strategic growth and internationalization efforts. It positions us to compete globally while remaining regionally influential, meeting the needs of our customers within global market dynamics.”
Having operated in Switzerland for over 40 years with a production site and global Innovation Hubs, HARTING aims to leverage this foundation for further advancement. Philip Harting highlighted, “Together with Studer Cables AG, which we acquired two years ago, we aim to drive innovation in connector and cable solutions, delivering added value to our customers.”
The establishment of global headquarters in Switzerland is part of HARTING’s broader strategy to secure jobs and investments worldwide, supporting its approximately 6,000 employees across the globe. While this move reinforces its global presence, Germany, particularly Espelkamp, remains central to the Harting family, with the headquarters of HARTING Stiftung & Co. KG remaining there.
“I am confident that by establishing our headquarters in Switzerland and investing in our global production, sales, and development sites, we are positioning the HARTING Technology Group for sustained success as a global leader in connectivity solutions,” emphasized Philip Harting.
The HARTING Technology Group is a global leader in industrial connectivity, with operations spanning 43 sales companies, 14 production facilities, and six development sites worldwide. Their connectivity solutions facilitate the transmission of data, signals, and power across various sectors, including transportation, electromobility, renewable energy, automation, and mechanical engineering. In the 2022/23 fiscal year, the family-owned company achieved sales of EUR 1,036 million.
