The HARTING Technology Group is set to unveil its latest innovations in connectivity at electronica 2024, the world’s premier electronics trade fair, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. Taking place in Munich from November 12 to 15, the event will fill all 18 exhibition halls for the first time, marking the largest edition in its history. Under the theme “Leading the way to the All Electric Society,” HARTING will highlight technologies enabling a digitalized, electrified, and sustainable world.

The All Electric Society (AES) envisions a future where renewable energy sources like wind and solar power meet all energy needs through intelligent networks. Central to this vision is sector coupling, integrating areas such as mobility, energy, and infrastructure into one cohesive system. It’s advanced connectivity solutions, including custom cables, play a vital role in facilitating this integration by enabling seamless data and power flow across sectors.

At the trade fair, the company will also share updates on its financial performance for the 2023/2024 fiscal year. The company expects a sales decrease of 8%, which aligns with its forecast, and anticipates moderate growth in 2025, driven by rising orders. More details will be revealed during the annual press conference on December 12, 2024.

Key highlights at HARTING’s exhibit include:

  • Innovations for PCBs: Addressing the need for modularity and flexibility in device development, HARTING introduces PCB connectors that simplify prototyping and meet evolving industry demands.
  • Energy Solutions: With the energy transition reshaping the industry, HARTING will showcase products designed for energy generation, storage, and transmission, promoting sustainable resource use.
  • E-Mobility Advancements: As electric vehicles gain momentum, HARTING supports manufacturers and infrastructure providers with standardized charging solutions to meet growing demand.
  • Miniaturization and Modularization: Responding to industrial trends, HARTING offers solutions that reduce space and weight requirements by up to 50%, contributing to lower carbon footprints.
