Hartek Group has won several 765kV projects from the Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL). These projects include supplying and setting up high-voltage transmission systems in Indore and Kurnool. This work supports India’s goal of improving power reliability and increasing transmission capacity to areas that need more electricity. The company plans to finish these projects in 14 to 20 months.
The 765kV projects will benefit the transmission and renewable energy sectors by helping to transmit power efficiently across the country, meeting rising electricity demands. According to the Central Electricity Authority, 765kV substations contribute about 23% to India’s total transformation capacity.
Sanjeev Gupta, Director – Technical of Hartek Group, said, “We are proud to partner with PGCIL to strengthen the National Grid. Hartek will continue to provide high voltage substations and power transmission solutions.” This success follows a recent contract worth INR 474 crore from a global renewable energy company, highlighting Hartek’s leadership in the industry.
Founded in 1991, Hartek Group is one of India’s fastest-growing companies, offering services in engineering, construction, renewables, and technology. The group operates through six business units, including Power Systems and Solar Solutions, and has become a well-known name in the power and infrastructure sectors.
