He has served on the association’s National Executive Committee and as Vice Chairman of its Northern Region before becoming Vice President in 2026. He will work with IEEMA’s President and Executive Council on the association’s policy and strategic agenda during his term as President-Elect. His responsibilities will include representing the interests of electrical, industrial electronics and allied equipment manufacturers and supporting engagement between industry, government, utilities and other stakeholders.

He will also support IEEMA’s engagement with policymakers and global industry stakeholders to promote India’s capabilities in electrical equipment manufacturing and technology.

Commenting on his appointment, Hartek Singh, President-Elect, IEEMA, said, “It is a privilege and a responsibility to serve IEEMA at a defining moment for India’s electrical and electronics industry. As the sector becomes increasingly central to India’s manufacturing and energy transition ambitions, our focus must be on strengthening the industry’s collective voice, enabling innovation and investment, and enhancing the global competitiveness of Indian manufacturers. I look forward to working closely with our members, policymakers and stakeholders to build an ecosystem that supports sustainable growth and strengthens India’s position in the global electrical equipment landscape.”

Mr Singh will also serve as Chairman of ELECRAMA 2027, IEEMA’s flagship exhibition for the electrical and allied electronics industry. The event is expected to provide a platform for Indian and international companies to showcase technologies, develop partnerships and discuss developments across the sector.

Mr Singh has experience across the power, renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. Under his leadership, Hartek Group has expanded its activities across power systems, renewable energy and power distribution products, including grid infrastructure and renewable energy integration projects.
