IEC Air Tools Pvt Ltd has appointed senior industry professional Harshwardhan Gune as its CEO. The appointment comes at a time when the Pune based manufacturer is celebrating its 50 years of operations in the year 2022. As CEO of the IEC Air Tools, he envisions huge scope in industrial growth in new sectors and expands the outreach of the company, apart from the supply reach to Automobile and Motor Cycle manufacturers, Ancillary, Electronics Industries, and White goods industries.

“After the tough time during the pandemic, I see tremendous growth opportunities and new avenues in all the areas besides Automotive. We foresee acquiring new customers and cater the new industrial verticals,” shared Harshwardhan talking exclusively to Machine Maker in his new role. “I believe in new growth aspects in the new industrial sectors,” he adds.
With a significant representation in various committees such as CII and MCCIA, Harshwardhan is a strategic leader in the business development of Defense, Aerospace, Auto, Industrial, Capital Goods, and Engineering Centre. Heading the Defence and Aerospace product division at Worldwide Oilfield Machine India, he has successfully established the product portfolio with the technical know-how of technology transfer, business development, and Application Engineering Team building. Moreover, as a successful CEO at Vidarbha Defence Industrial Hub, he played a critical role in the Indigenization strategy & Industrial Plan of the Defence and Aerospace sector and worked closely with the PSUs and development labs.
IEC’s product line includes the Acuura FT series Transducerised Pulse Tools and Accura CMS FT Controller, Shut Off and Non-Shut-off Pulse Tools, Impact Wrenches, Pneumatic Multi Spindles and Fastening Process of Automation and Poka-Yoke System. Harshwardhan says that he is committed to continuing the company’s goal of introducing new technologies and providing a one-stop-shop of excellent solutions to its customers.
