Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd (GOLIL) has announced strategic partnerships with leading construction equipment manufacturers Action Construction Equipment (ACE), Ammann India, and XCMG, marking a significant step in expanding its footprint in India’s fast-growing infrastructure and construction segment.
As part of its collaboration with Ammann India—one of the country’s leading road construction equipment manufacturers—Gulf Oil will serve as the official lubricants partner for Ammann’s entire equipment portfolio. This includes supplying high-performance products under the Ammann Genuine Oil range, designed to enhance equipment durability, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
The partnership combines Ammann’s engineering expertise with Gulf’s advanced lubrication technologies and also includes plans to co-develop specialised lubricant formulations for next-generation and technologically advanced machinery. These solutions are aimed at supporting contractors and infrastructure developers operating in demanding Indian conditions.
Gulf has also partnered with XCMG, a global construction equipment leader, to introduce XCMG-branded genuine lubricants in the Indian market. Alongside its long-standing association with ACE, the company has expanded the ACE Genuine Oil range, tailored for cranes, backhoe loaders, compactors, graders, forklifts, tractors, and harvesters.
These collaborations further strengthen Gulf’s portfolio of OEM-approved lubricants, enabling improved equipment reliability, longer service intervals, and lower total cost of ownership. The company currently works with over 50 OEMs across automotive, industrial, and construction sectors, supported by on-ground technical services and application expertise.
Commenting on the development, Ravi Chawla, Managing Director & CEO, Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd, noted that infrastructure has been a strategic focus area for over 15 years, and these partnerships reinforce Gulf’s long-term commitment to supporting India’s infrastructure growth.
In addition to OEM alliances, Gulf has unveiled a next-generation lubricant range, including fire-resistant hydraulic oils, zinc-free energy-efficient formulations, synthetic gear oils, and CE-V compliant diesel engine oils. With localized R&D, advanced manufacturing facilities, and readiness for evolving emission norms and electrification trends, Gulf continues to position itself as a trusted partner in India’s infrastructure and mobility ecosystem.
