GSFC Starts Commercial Production at New Hydroxylamine Sulphate Plant in Vadodara

Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd (GSFC) announced the commissioning of its new Hydroxylamine Sulphate Crystal (FIX Crystal) manufacturing plant at Fertilizernagar, Vadodara, according to a stock exchange filing. The plant, which has an annual production capacity of 6,600 metric tonnes, commenced commercial production on October 11, 2024.

In its financial report, GSFC recorded a significant 89% drop in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of 2023-24, down to ₹24.43 crore from ₹224.91 crore in the same quarter the previous year, primarily due to poor sales.

Total income decreased by 16.34%, falling to ₹2,017.46 crore from ₹2,411.56 crore, while expenses were also lower at ₹1,993 crore compared to ₹2,105.74 crore in the corresponding period. Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd (GSFC) is a leading Indian public sector enterprise involved in the production and distribution of fertilizers and industrial chemicals.
