The accolade was presented at the 24th Edition of the Asian Business and Social Forum: Greatest Brands and Leaders 2024, held at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai. The company recently secured contracts for 11 compressed biogas (CBG) plants, with an average value of ₹100 crores per project. Once operational, these plants are expected to produce approximately 88,000 tons of CBG annually.
These projects are also expected to generate significant employment opportunities in the biofuel sector. By the end of the 2024-2025 financial year, Gruner Renewable Energy aims to grow its workforce from 1,200 to over 5,000 employees, including on-site workers.
Founded in February 2023, Gruner Renewable Energy has rapidly established itself as a key player in sustainable energy, focusing on reducing carbon footprints and achieving sustainability goals. The company, a member of the Indian Biogas Association, specializes in delivering cost-effective and advanced biogas solutions.
Within five months of its inception, Gruner reached a turnover of INR 40 crores, and it now oversees more than 50 projects across India. Starting with a team of just four, the company has expanded to 100 employees and is leading the charge towards a more sustainable and eco-friendly energy future.
