Greenzo Energy India Limited, at the forefront of pioneering green hydrogen technologies, has unveiled a groundbreaking 1 MW Alkaline Electrolyser, representing a leap forward in India’s clean energy sector. This innovation was introduced during the esteemed Sanand Global Expo, a flagship event hosted by the Sanand Industries Association.

The unveiling of this innovative electrolyser, the first of its kind developed entirely under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, was presided over by Gujarat’s Industries Minister, Balvantsinh Rajput. Minister Rajput emphasized the pivotal role of this project in advancing Gujarat, and the entire nation, towards establishing itself as a key player in the green hydrogen arena.

This achievement aligns perfectly with India’s ambitious objectives of ensuring energy security and transitioning towards a carbon-neutral future. Sandeep Agarwal, the Chief Executive Officer of Greenzo Energy, has announced that the company has garnered substantial orders for their 1 MW Alkaline Electrolyser, amassing an impressive order book valued at Rs 1,200 crore.

Additionally, the firm is actively in the process of establishing a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility capable of producing 250 MW of electrolyser units annually in Sanand GIDC. Furthermore, plans are underway to expand their manufacturing capabilities to include up to 5 MW single stack alkaline-based technology at their Sanand-2 industrial area facility.

Green hydrogen, which is produced by splitting water into hydrogen and oxygen using renewable energy sources, is increasingly recognized as a sustainable solution for various sectors, including transportation, power generation, and industrial processes. Greenzo Energy’s pioneering efforts in this realm are poised to make a substantial impact on India’s journey towards achieving a sustainable energy future.
