Greenzo Energy Secures Major Hydrogen Project

Greenzo Energy announced on Monday that it has secured a significant hydrogen project, boosting its total order book to ₹1,200 crore. The latest contract has been awarded by Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO), the company said in a statement.

With the inclusion of the TANGEDCO green hydrogen project, Greenzo’s order book has now reached ₹1,200 crore. This project will be executed at the Ennore SEZ Supercritical Thermal Power Plant, which operates 2×660 MW units and is owned by TANGEDCO.

While the exact financial value of the contract remains undisclosed due to confidentiality agreements, Greenzo Energy will set up a hydrogen generation facility capable of producing 20 normal cubic meters of hydrogen per hour. This project represents a key advancement in India’s Green Hydrogen Mission, with a completion timeline of 18 months, according to Sandeep Agarwal, Founder and Managing Director of Greenzo Energy India Limited.

The electrolyzers for the project will be designed and produced at Greenzo’s manufacturing facility in Sanand, Gujarat. Greenzo Energy specializes in green hydrogen solutions, developing and operating renewable energy infrastructure to provide zero-emission energy services.
