Greenzo Energy, India’s only domestic manufacturer of alkaline electrolyzers, has unveiled its 1 MW alkaline electrolyzer stack, named the “Un Wheel”—a fully indigenous technology for green hydrogen production tailored to India’s environmental conditions.
The “Un Wheel” was developed entirely by Indian scientists and engineers and can operate effectively across a broad temperature range from -20°C to 60°C. Built to last 20 years, the stack delivers hydrogen at a pressure of 30 bars, reducing the need for additional compressors.
Equipped with sophisticated monitoring and control systems, the “Un Wheel” ensures safe and efficient hydrogen production through real-time oversight of critical parameters. It maintains high hydrogen purity by managing pure water quality, optimized pressure, stable purification, and lye temperature. The stack’s advanced controls over circulation and dew point further enhance stability and purity.
