Greenpanel Industries Ltd India’s largest manufacturer of wood-based panels, has unveiled DuroBOIL™, a new Boiling Water Proof (BWP) High Density Fibreboard engineered for interior applications exposed to high moisture, heat, and intensive use. The launch marks a significant addition to Greenpanel’s portfolio of advanced interior solutions designed for durability and long-term performance.
Developed to deliver exceptional strength and stability, DuroBOIL™ is positioned as India’s most robust and densest HDF. Its compact and solid construction enables it to maintain structural integrity in conditions where conventional boards often fail, making it a dependable material for architects, interior designers, and furniture manufacturers working on demanding projects.
With an ultra-high density of 1100 kg per cubic metre, DuroBOIL™ offers enhanced rigidity, load-bearing capacity, and water resistance. The board is available in 12 mm and 18 mm thickness options and is backed by a 25-year warranty, ensuring reliability and confidence for both residential and commercial applications.
Designed specifically for environments prone to moisture and heat, DuroBOIL™ remains stable even when exposed to boiling water, steam, and fluctuating humidity levels. This makes it well suited for use in bathrooms, modular kitchens, and other wet or high-usage areas. In addition to durability, the product supports healthier indoor spaces with low emissions and features a smooth, uniform surface that is ready for a variety of finishes, including laminates, veneers, PU coatings, and digital printing. The board is also resistant to termites and borers and offers excellent workability, allowing precise cutting, routing, shaping, and carving for customised interior designs.
