GreenLine Mobility Solutions, a subsidiary of the Essar Group, has announced plans to scale up its Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) retail network from the current three outlets to ten by 2025. The company is also set to double its fleet of LNG-powered trucks, aiming to reach 1,000 vehicles by March FY25 from the existing 500-plus trucks.
“As GreenLine’s fleet expands, its subsidiary, Ultra Gas & Energy Ltd (UGEL), is accelerating efforts to grow its network of LNG fuelling stations. The goal is to increase the number of outlets to 10 by 2025, ensuring the infrastructure needed to support the growing fleet while reducing emissions and curbing India’s dependence on diesel,” the company stated.
GreenLine CEO Anand Mimani emphasized the company’s commitment to sustainability, stating, “By increasing our LNG-powered truck fleet and expanding fuelling infrastructure nationwide, we are actively contributing to lowering India’s carbon footprint and driving the shift toward a more sustainable logistics sector.”
